Open Urban Sustainability Hubs (OPUSH)
The applied international research project OPUSH explores ways in which sustainable development in democratic societies can be co-developed and supported by local communities. The aim of OPUSH is to make knowledge about sustainable development and transformative action more visible and comprehensible through existing knowledge infrastructures, such as libraries and museums. It also seeks to make these knowledge spaces and networks within urban areas more accessible to local communities and to involve them in knowledge production processes through Citizen Social Science.
