This year’s IBA ResearchLab Summer School is taking place from 12th – 16th September.

We are pleased to announce our confirmed keynote speaker! Kathleen Scanlon, Distinguished Policy Fellow at the London School of Economics, will hold a lecture centering around this year’s Summer School thematic focus of “Social Housing Production – economic foundations of building and dwelling”.

Additionally, this year’s faculty will consist of the internationally renowned scholars, which hold expertise in all relevant fields of housing research, amongst others with Monika Grubbauer (HCU Hamburg), Justin Kadi (TU Wien), Michael Klien (WIFO), Dara Turnbull (Housing Europe), Iván Tosics (URBACT), …

In a week of exchange and collaboration, a series of lectures, commented paper sessions, workshops and excursions, such as to Seestadt Aspern and around the topic of Gentle Urban Renewal, will take place.

Join us at our public events at the Opening Symposium, which will take place on the 12th of September or at the Evening Lecture with keynote on the 14th of September.
