Privacy Policy
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions. In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website. This privacy policy does not apply to other providers to whom we refer via links on our pages, i.e. we accept no liability for this content or the use and processing of data.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we will store the data you provide for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
If you do not want this, you can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow this in individual cases.
If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.
Google Analytics
We use functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google will use this information within the framework of our agreement on order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR to evaluate the use of our online offering by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offering, and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offering and the Internet. In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means that the IP address of users will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other Google data.
Data processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This is the improvement of our online offering with the help of the anonymized data collected.
You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the online offering and from processing this data by activating the following checkbox. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this website.
Web fonts (Google)
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Server log files
The log data is used only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation and to ensure information security. If there are concrete indications of justified suspicion of illegal use, the log data will be checked retrospectively. The data is deleted after 14 days.
Data processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This is to ensure information security.
Embedded YouTube videos
This website uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider “YouTube.” The operator of the site is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When embedding, the extended data protection mode is used, which, according to the provider, only starts storing user information when the video(s) are played. When the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, the provider “YouTube” uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to YouTube, these are used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent abusive behavior.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in the provider's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
Vimeo
We use components from the provider Vimeo on our website. Vimeo is a service provided by Vimeo LCC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. Each time you visit our website that is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from Vimeo. If you visit our site while logged in to Vimeo, Vimeo recognizes which specific page you are visiting based on the information collected by the component and assigns this information to your personal Vimeo account. For example, if you click the “Play” button or post comments, this information is transmitted to your personal Vimeo user account and stored there. In addition, the information that you have visited our site is passed on to Vimeo. This happens regardless of whether you click on the component/post comments or not.
If you want to prevent Vimeo from transferring and storing data about you and your behavior on our website, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting our site. Vimeo's privacy policy provides more detailed information on this, in particular on the collection and use of data by Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/privacy
