Neues soziales Wohnen - Positionen zur IBA_Wien 2022

With IBA_Wien 2022, which was announced in 2016, the Austrian capital is facing the challenges of an international building exhibition for the first time. The focus on “New Social Housing” refers to Vienna's historical core competence in residential construction and to the most pressing issue in the development of European cities at present: How can cities remain inclusive, livable, and affordable in the face of current changes, and what contribution can comprehensive neighborhood development make to this?

For the 2020 interim presentation, the future.lab at TU Wien and IBA_Wien 2022 are taking stock and giving experts from research, planning, politics, and practice a chance to have their say.
