Health in motion

In the applied education and research project GESUNDHEIT IN BEWEGUNG (HEALTH IN MOTION), we explore the digital transformation of our living environments through medical research and medical technology, the innovative planning and use of social infrastructures, and the active co-creation of the health of tomorrow.

Children and adolescents develop an understanding of the interconnections and challenges of digital and analog everyday life within the educational and health landscape, framed by questions of equal opportunities and social cohesion. In a playful way that fosters individual interests, students become familiar with professions in health research, medical technology, and infrastructure planning. Through hands-on activities, they experience everyday professional practices and participate in processes of co-producing knowledge. Together with the project team, they become experts in their own—and our collective—health of the future.

The aim of the project is to communicate knowledge about the future of health and digitalization in diverse and engaging ways, and to further develop it collaboratively with students, educators, parents, educational partners, as well as research and industry partners.

This project is funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology and is carried out within the framework of the program “Talente regional.”
