They report on the relaunch of the Grundkurses Hochbau 1, which for the past two semesters has focused on existing buildings, thereby familiarizing students with existing buildings right from the start of their studies. In episode 18, Madlyn Miessgang talks to them about their didactic approach, the necessary transformation of skills on the part of students, teachers, and practitioners, and, last but not least, the ability to engage in dialogue and empathy that dealing with our built environment demands of us.
