Julia Forster is the head of the Spatial Simulation Laboratory (Simlab) at the Research Unit of Local Spatial Planning at TU Wien. She is an architect and spatial planner with a focus on digital planning and decision-support tools for resource-conscious development. In this context, she works on the analysis of spatial data and holistic system visualization to support agile collaboration among interdisciplinary experts in national and international research projects. For her dissertation within the interdisciplinary doctoral program URBEM (Urban Energy and Mobility Systems), she was awarded the Ressel Prize in 2017.

Yosun Şişman studies architecture at TU Wien. Her focus is on digital tools for spatial transformations and resource-conscious planning. Since 2022, she has been working at Simlab, engaging in projects such as SmartQ+, which explores integrated sustainable design methods and innovative solutions for efficient resource management.
