#14 Field Trips: Old Buildings – New Ideas

In Episode 14, we present the results of the Field Trips course from the summer semester 2024. Students of architecture and spatial planning developed independent research designs and investigated innovative approaches to the “transformation of the existing built environment” in various European cities. A particular focus was placed on social innovations.

On June 26, 2024, the final presentation of the Field Trips at Nordwestbahnhof took place as part of the Klima Biennale. All project results were presented in the context of an exhibition, followed by a panel discussion with external guests, who also established connections to the Viennese context.

Guests of the panel discussion:
Timo Bogataj and Sara Klimbacher (Kollectiv Kaorle)
Gunnar Grandel (Kollectiv Raumstation, TU Wien)
Ulli Fries (Kreative Räume Wien)
Jutta Kleedorfer (former project coordinator for multiple use, MA18)
Moderation: Katharina Kircher and Clemens Wollscheid (students, Field Trips)
