Study fees and subsidies
Admission is confirmed once you have paid the student contribution (ÖH contribution) or tuition fees (third-country nationals). The TU Wien's Admissions Office will answer any other questions in writing, by telephone or in person.

Obligation to pay tuition fees
In principle, tuition fees are only due at public universities in Austria if the standard study duration, as specified in the curriculum (plus an allowance of two additional semesters), is exceeded. Doctoral studies are therefore subject to tuition fees from the 9th semester onwards — the tuition fees are €363.36 per semester.

A tuition fees requirement starting in the first semester applies to non-degree students and third-country nationals — at the rate of €726.72 per semester. More information is available here.

Student fee
In addition to the tuition fees, a student fee for the legal representation of students' interests (ÖH, the Austrian National Union of Students) must be paid each semester. More information is available here.

Scholarships and research funding
It is possible to apply for funding for your studies. In the Austrian database for scholarships and research funding (at the OeAD, Agency for Education and Internationalisation), you will find an overview of scholarships and research funding options. Also, the European Funding Guide offers scholarships, grants, and awards with which to fund your studies in the EU.
